The last signal

About 30 seconds. One decision.
Two ways to leave the observatory.

Receiver standing by

The observatory

The storm has swallowed the coastline. Inside the abandoned observatory, a signal is still repeating. Then, through the static, you hear your name.

The station has been silent for thirty years.

One choice. Two endings. A short vignette made for this page.

    A few good questions

    Before you
    begin.

Made for artists and writers. Built around the way a story takes shape.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Write dialogue, stage artwork and add choices, relationships, items and endings through the editor. An ordinary story needs no authored code or manual node wiring.

Can I use my own artwork?

Yes. Bring your PNG or JPEG backgrounds, characters and expressions. Add your own audio and video, too. Accepted artwork stays in your project and travels with your exported game.

Do I have to use AI?

No. You can create with your own words and artwork. The optional assistant is an alpha pilot: you review its proposals, decide what enters your project and can undo accepted changes.

Will my game work without Zik?

Exported standalone games play independently of your Zik subscription and AI services. Your players don’t need a Zik account. Keep the portable source project to continue editing your work.

Where can I create and play?

Studio is for desktop computers, with browser authoring in private alpha and a downloadable desktop app in development. Web games target phones, tablets and desktops. Native games for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS are in development; full platform verification is still underway.

    Can I try Zik today?
